I have had a Diana LP8 for a while but didn't really take to it because of two issues: hard trigger and plastic grips with a gap in the front that pinched the middle finger. Both issues have been cured. First I found some nice wood grips from Galbraith Brothers. Then I opened the action to see if improvements could be made. I smoothed up the parts and took 1 1/2 turns off of the sear actuator spring. The trigger is much better now. It is like a different gun and a pleasure to shoot.

Sweet, David. I too did the grip upgrade and found it to be a HUGE improvement in feel and looks. The trigger needs work as you mentioned but I have been scared to open mine up. She is a VERY accurate, strong shooting pistol, and a keeper for sure! I guess you should have posted this in the German Gate.

And I thought that grip thing was just me, the first week I had it I started getting a blister. I’ve never really taken to mine and I’ve had it a couple years now, it’s a little too heavy and lop sided for me to hold it well. I’ve seen where someone modified a crosman 2240 stock and turned it into a carbine.
