Does anyone have any experiance with the Jim Shockey Legacy .22 air rifle ? How well does it shoot ? How quiet is it ? Does it really deliver 21 ft.lbs ? Is it accurate ? Can you take raccoons with it ?

I have that on my wish list (with a couple others) to check out when it comes available.
I am a used to camera gear and reviews come out before the camera. Doesnt seem to be that way with air rifles.

It is listed as only having a 21# cocking effort - pretty light for gun with this kind of power.
I am a little skeptical - I don't see a lot of guys talking about how accurate their Benji Nitro guns are. My son's is a bit of a disappointment so far. It hits the paper "most" of the time.

I know this is an old post I'm reviving, but I have that Jim shockey .22 and I like it, it's super accurate and hits hard the "suppresor" does nothing from what I can tell it's not to loud but it's not to quiet either, km happy with mine, and as for the comment about the benji nps being not very accurate, they are extremely accurate when you learn how to shoot with them, I can hit a grape at 30yrdswith the factory scope, I've taken squirrels at 50yrds
