After a couple of years of being utterly uninterested, my 10-year-old daughter suddenly asked if we could go to the range this weekend.I brought along my son's ( scoped ) IZH-61, and after some safety and then technique instruction she had a go at it, at 10 meters. Her first ever shots were the 7-rings in the center sighter target, and then she moved on to the top two targets. All of them were 5 shots each, and she got a couple of elongated holes. She's very, very deliberate when taking a shot so the three targets took around 45 minutes.Last thing I heard was "Can we come again after school this week?"
