I haven't had much luck either. My AA S515 kinda likes the Meister's. H&N's are really bad in this gun but they do OK in my Hatsan super 25 (shooting at 520 FPS) I have to turn the air down on the gun to well below 700 FPS to get any kind of reasonable results. Of course every gun is gonna be different. I have noticed that my .177 wadcutters shoot with the same accuracy as a domed or pointed pellet.

Of course every gun is gonna be different. I have noticed that my .177 wadcutters shoot with the same accuracy as a domed or pointed pellet. From the Straightshooters website about the S500/510:Special Note: You may notice that only domed/round-headed pellets were used in our velocity tests for PCP air guns. While conducting velocity tests on PCP's we noticed guns with magazines tend to load easier with the domed/round-headed pellets than any other style. Digging a little deeper we also discovered many manufactures recommend round headed pellets for their PCP's because they are easier (less wear and tear) on breech o-rings and magazine o-rings.Because of this we only test the domed/round-headed pellets and will only recommend those pellets as well.Hope this helps.Eric
