Oh, like you guys could do so much better! Just kidding. I wouldn't even bother to buy a mold. Got any idea how hard it would be to mold a .177 or .22 waisted pellet? I did see a post where a guy made a steel plate with the proper sized hole for a die and then used a rounded steel pin to press roundballs into a sort of stretched, hollow based pellet. Believe it was for a PCP. Could work with either .177 or .22 round balls but, then, if you have those, you probably have the pellets. You could get away in an emergency with a bit of paper patching and anything small enough to use as the projectile such as a nail. Just don't try to shoot a plain nail as it could end up in your compression tube. Many a cheap European springer has been torn down to find a seal full of these, LOL!
