Rob & David; I agree with David's top 5 pix except for one, & it would be nice if someone with a Sheridan A or B would chime in & give us a comparison on Quality & Performance with respect to the Sheridan C, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. However, based on the A & B’s Collectability alone I would have to say there is no way the C’s can move into the #1 spot. The A & B are so far ahead on Collectability that both Quality & Performance doesn’t enter the equation.I used this scenario before; you are telling me if you had an S-C or S-C9 in front of you for free & an S-A or S-B, you would chose the C or C9? I just don't see that happening. With respect to the Challenger, I will certainly include it in the mix with the rest.
How many people have chose the millennium pumper and fx independence ?And if collectability are so important with regards to the list how can they make it ?Also if mods aren't allowed, then why is the millennium pumper be allowed. I'm not putting both these guns down, but they don't seem to fit the parameters.I have started my own top 15 pumpers list in the American airgun gate and have set different parameters , not because this list isn't any good but because I feel production span means more than rarity. It's focused on practicality from a shooters standpoint over just collecting.

I've thought it interesting it was listed all along but didn't mention it.I used to have a teacher who said"I do not know...Therefore I shall not say...For fear of being wrong for the first time in my WHOLE life!"
All guns have to start with something, the parts have to come from somewhere.... It's too bad that Crosman didn't take the idea and run with it, they could have had a modern, multi-shot pumper in up to .25 cal, assembled using 95% of the parts they already make.... However, they didn't, my gun is therefore a "Prototype", and the limited run (less than 10) made by Mike were not 100% made in his shop, he purchased some parts to build them, modified them to some degree, while machining others from scratch.... I did the same....You won't hurt my feelings if you don't include it, the Millennium Pumper has no more right to be in a list of Collectable Pumpers than any other Custom.... If I were running this poll, I would either list it as #25, or give it an "Honourable Mention" as a footnote.... JMO....Bob

JMO....Bob I know if I was lucky enough to have one it might as well be collectable.... just try to get it from me... And only 10 made? Imagine owning one 20 years from now and having the prominence from the man himself... Only a couple thousand more of the Sheridan B made and look at how desirable it is... not that I compare Bob to Mr. Kraus but who knows.. Bob's still here and still "tinkering".
Something worth mentioning; In the list of Crosman's, I have mislabeled one of the choices. I have a 1941 Crosman 101 , this is incorrect, it should be 1949. This is important because the statement that was made is; "This is the finest incarnation of the series". Sorry Scott.I'm trying to keep up, but if I have missed any others please let me know.
You have kept the crosman 1300 listed, but it is a Springer and not a pumper.
