MY first 100 yard try with a air fifle
After many attempts, I finally got 3 out of 5 shots into the 4 MOA circle. The Gamo Whisper was pumping the JSB pellets (8.44 gr.) at 851 FPS. The wind stopped around 7:15 PM. Started to shoot the group at 100 yards. Then the light faded fast and the last two shots were hard to see the red dot 15 1/2 inches above the bull.
My old Burris scope doesn't have as many clicks as the modern scopes so I zeroed the scope at 50 yards. Then measured the additional drop from 50 to 100 yards. It's 15-1/2 inches. Installed a small target button 15-1/2” on a piece of PVC pipe above the target and centered it over the bulls eye.
Next time I'll use a battery powered spotlight. The Gamo Whisper is the best one in my collection for this challenge. It's how you hold it. It took over two years to learn how to shoot it accurately. How long it will last will be the next story
Thanks to all involved in the development of the "NUAH".
Having fun, Pointfocus (Gil)

Good shooting Gil, especially with a .177 springer shooting light pellets. Welcome to the club.
