The impact came in today and it is a keeper! After I zero the scope I turn my attention to some acorn s in a tree about 50 yards away it didn't mess with 12 shots I'm happy, very happy. I can't wait to see what this thing can do at the longer ranges and what is thrown over the Crony.

Did you put another SWFA scope on it??

See, now you've probably going let a few of us may eyeball your new pretty, which in turn is probably going to make is lust after it and want one for ourselves, lol, congrats. Im really looking forward to the streamline if and when it comes out. I think that one would make an excellent squirrel rifle if she's light enough in .25.The impact came in today and it is a keeper! I can't wait to see what this thing can do at the longer ranges and what is thrown over the Crony.I thought it might be fun to try my AT44 .25 at this. Didn't have an oak tree that I could use, though, but I did have some 1/2" spots and stuck a dozen fake acorns, or facorns for short, on a piece of cardboard. 39 yds was about all I could squeeze out by setting up right on the west property line, which I could do only because that house is empty at the moment. I say 39 yds, but my range finder is a bit schizophrenic at times, so, whether it was 39 yds or 43 yds or somewhere in between, it was about that.Anyway, on to the results: I can now say without reservation or hesitation that, at 39 yds, I could hit the oak tree 12 out of 12 times. Facorns, on the other hand, were a different story and had a better than even chance of escaping totally unharmed. The good thing, however, is that few facorns were seriously harmed in this experiment. Two were gut-shot and had to be put out of their misery, and three more were barely nicked and will only need a small bandaid, but the other seven just sat and yawned as the pellets went by. So, all in all, a typical day at the (backyard) range.
Ha! Hope you're coming to the shoot Sunday. We need your sense of humor! Sounds like you need the right pellets....
When's the last time you cleaned the barrel?
I was about to say the same thing Glen. We hijack our own threads all the time, lol! I guess it is kind of like asking your friends for advice vs total strangers to me, but I digress...
