Outstanding!! Nice shooting.
Awesome shooting! Doug building me .257 right now for long range shooting.
Carl,Not only do i admire those groups but i really dig the way your gun looks. It almost doesn't look like a AF gun but a true powder burner bench gun of some sort....I LIKE IT...........I LIKE IT ALLOUTSTANDING!!!
VERY cool to see that kind of accuracy at 100 yards and beyond.... Bob

Your 1/4 mile can video started me along these lines as I have mentioned it before......I have powder rifles better than this and bored but this was interesting doing and seeing results. Glad you like it....I only put several groups, as mentioned at top I have a LOT........Throw targets away now as I expect it to shoot very well.........Thanks for getting my competitive juices going and seeing what really CAN BE done with air.....Carl
I shot them thru Nicks Lab Radar and the BC was lower then the arsenal 257420 bullet. Will have to shoot again because bullets were a little under sized. Not sure that will effect the bc results. I have a .257 bullet that lab radar said it was in the .380's and Cedric says he gets .180 when he tested it. Not sure what is right or wrong.
Congratulations R50 on an excellent build. I simply can not get that type of accuracy out of my Extreme Big Bore in .30 cal. You are operating on a whole different level. What twist rate did you settle on for this build??
I see you got that 0.104" group with the 257420s.... In case you didn't know, Aresenal now has them in a BT version.... I suggested it to Nick Nielsen and he ordered one mold.... Cedric liked them enough that Nick is getting 5 more molds for his casting machine and will be selling them.... Cedric said the BC was about 30% better than the normal GC base.... It would be interesting to see how they worked for you.... The only change is a taper in the GC area, no other change to the bullet at all.... although it would be a grain or two lighter, of course....Bob

My gun liked them. I also have the 257388's which shoot very well so far and the LBT LFN 90 gr coming in too which Doug gave me the pleasure of shooting. I REALLY LIKE THE LBT LFN 90's. I also upgraded my scope and scope rings to a SWFA and the FX NO LIMIT Rings. So I will be joining you soon. Well, NOT AT THE 1000 yard mark..............NOT JUST YET!Keep up the good work Carl. THE 257 IS AMAZING AINT IT??!!!!!!
