I would like to know that after installing the Heavier Hammer Spring on the Texan , what is the guarantee that it will not damage the Original Valve of the Texan ( after repeated use ) , as we all know that the airforce brand make their products very precise and have low tolerance to after market upgrades .Ideally the Valve also needs to be upgraded with the spring .Awaiting clarification and some input/info from you guys , before I order for the spring from African Air Ordnance
LOL!!! AirForce and Precision manufacture is two words I have NEVER seen put together before. Unless it was proceeded with the words alluding to a Lack thereof. LOL!!! I experience spring fatigue with springs in the .257. Might you have something for that?Knife
Shot a few more groups at 75yd. Pretty happy with it. Same settings as before, then tried changing some setting a bit. Faster better, at least what I was up to, mid 800s. Below 750 I saw some vertical and horizontal shifting in consistency. Here is what it looks like at 820fps, 75ydShot some roundball after, at 2400psi was shooting at 940fps and 1-1.5in groups as well. So it/we seem to be settling in with the new spring nicely!
Just because a gun has a 5K burst disc installed doesn't mean you can operate the gun above the manufacturers recommend pressure.... I wonder what AirForce would say to anyone recommending one of their guns be filled more than 20% overpressure?.... I assume that 3000 psi is the recommended maximum, like the other AirForce products?.... Bob
