Are jobs where, past a certain base-level, the ultimate accuracy doesn’t really matter.

Yeah…get all tied up in the little bits.  1/10th inch smaller average group has to be better…right?

Simple cheap “rat master”.  Just a .22 QB79 carbine with an HPA bottle, nothing really done to “pretty it up”, just a basic conversion. Work is on the inside (and 205shots at + 12 foot pound shots per fill is my hpa “high point”).



All I need to shoot rats. In the situation I’m in, have never gotten a shot closer than 15 yards or father than 27 yards.  So 20 yards seems a good median test range. Guess I could back up some and get longer range, but why?

You can tell from the way that QB is sighted in, didn’t go with the most accurate.  Went with “accurate enough”.

Just a reminder, don’t blindly worship at the altar of ultimate accuracy and ultimate power….it’s something to use to advantage when you need it, but not the end-all of pellet or rifle choice.

  Looks Good enough to do what you want with it and certainly better than good enough in the accuracy department. Set out 10 paint balls on golf tees stuck in a 3ft piece of 2x4 and see how many you can kill in a row. From those targets it should be easy peezy
