Will try to make it short and sweet.
I did take this one apart, de-burred, cleaned it up inside, changed the piston seal and very lightly lubed it so it's not totally box stock.
Weight rifle with sling 9.3 lbs, with Bugbuster 3-9 x 32 scope and mount 10.10 lbs.
Shoots CPHP 14.3gr @ 930 fps.
H&N Sport 13.73 gr @ 965 fps
Meisterkugeln 14 gr @ 950 fps
JSB Exact Jumbo RS 13.43 gr @ 860 fps.. Odd, guess it's the 5.52 head size.
JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89 gr @ 820 fps. Also a little low. should have been around 890 for 27 FPE normally produced by by this gun.
H&N Field Target Trophy's 14.66 gr @ 922 FPS.. This gun really likes these pellets as you will see from the target below. The spread on these pellets is @ 6 fps.
The scope is pretty low end 3-9x32 but usable if you don't have better.
The sling works and looks cool. Don't really care for the dog chain style snaps it uses, but again, It works.
The Bipod works great to display the gun. Have not tried shooting with it.
The trigger on this one is decent right out of the box. The 125th I had before was really a stiff pull.
The scope rail design puts weaver style mounts farther forward than it should and can cause problem with compact scopes. I put an 11mm mount with a 38mm offest and could have used 10mm more for the BugBuster.
The rifle feels good and solid. The Stock on the Sniper has a much higher quality look and feel over the 125th. The stock don't have the hollow sound since it has the adjustable cheek piece. I have no fear of this stock breaking at at grip. If you caught the forearm pieces just right on something you might break it at the end past the forearm bolt. Would be rare, but possible I guess.
Blueing on the receiver is good as is the barrel breach block. The bluing on the barrel looks dark and even, but it's not a polished finish.
It shoots really smooth considering the power it has with no twang. I didn't put any tar on the spring to quieten it down as I didn't want to take a chance on reducing FPS. I did polish the ends up a little and add some molly as they where digging into the plastic washer inside the piston and the rear spring guide.
Below is a picture of the plastic washer that was put into the piston with metal shavings inside the piston. Not sure what problems this could have caused down the road, but I hope Hatsan see's this. I don't think this is the norm and wait to hear what other find.
Overall the rifle looks, shoots great and I'm very happy with it. It does take some effort to cock, even harder sitting at a bench.
Will I buy Hatsan again. Yes, Their break barrel pistol will be next when it comes out.
Getting late, but I wanted to get this done. Will add to it if need be and as I learn more.
Now for the pictures.

Good review Craymar, thanks for the chrony numbers.

Thanks for taking the time to write the review, It was your sniper in camo that made me send the black sniper back, I love how it looks, its addicting just to look at, just like the wfh is, it so cool.
its not everyday you have a air rifle that you love every time you see it, just on looks alone not to mention its wonderful design.
I sure wish hatsan arms company looks into the issues we have found along the way,
I have no problem buying other rifles as well, I have the rws 350 magnum .22, I have the Chinese beeman ram .22 that i am going to camo, I plan on getting a 125 sniper in camo .22 when they are available again.
Could of had one by now if joao of American Arms just told me he was out of them, instead of shipping me something I specifically said on the phone, when I called and checked my order, that I did not want the black sniper, and I was promised no worry I give you the camo for the same price as the black sniper. It was maybe two days before paul received his thumb hole stock that he did not order
Now no one has the sniper 125 in camo in .22

Is this the sniper with nitro piston?
-
No, spring piston. Spring version is more powerful than NP.

Hello Craymar, really nice review of the gun and thanks for posting the chrony results. I just wanted to check in and see how the gun has been holding up and approoximately how many rounds you have thru it at this point.
