I am unaware of what you are talking about here. I did not see any such screws. I did not see any info about this in the sheet that came with the scope.You said: I'm surprised that you have to remove the w/e caps, since I thought all Centerpoints either had the Allen screws that needed backing off for adjustment, or they had the finger adjustable lock ring.
I'll be darned.I was unaware that there were Centerpoints with those turrets.Just a suggestion for you, but if the annoyance of unscrewing the turrets gets to you out in the field, you could simply unscrew them and put them in a safe place at home.You could then do quick adjustments until you get back home to put them back on.Having the caps off will not hurt a thing.By the way, it's nice to see that you had the forethought to mount on top of an 11mm to Weaver adapter rail.That is the ultimate recoil proof rig.
