In search of a new project gun.

I’ve been tinkering with my bamboo stocked B25 all weekend and I think I’ve got it shooting about as good as possible, I think. Seems like as good as all my guns shoot I’m always looking to squeeze just a little better performance out of them. At times it can get quite frustrating. With that said the only project gun I have left is my Beeman RS2 that in reality only needs a trigger job. Thanks to this site I have some good information for the trigger work, now all I need is the time. The Beeman has proved to be quite accurate even with the terrible stock trigger, so I’m hoping once I get things smoothed up and polished I’ll have real shooter on my hands. I’ve chopped and re crowned the barrel, filled the hollow synthetic stock with expand foam and in the process of getting together a rock solid scope mount and ring combination. But once I get that all done I won’t have project gun anymore. And I like to try and keep at least two of them going at any given time. With that being said I guess it’s about time to start poking around the various classifieds to find my next project guns. I’ve really been interested in a gas rammed Big Cat. I know a lot of you guys out there are members of other forums, and I check them out occasionally but if any of you guys see a potential project gun on anther site please shoot me a PM, if that’s not asking to much. And again I don’t have anything particular in mind, I just need something to work on.

Would you like a nice, broken in RWS 48 in .177 calibre? The friend I traded with could not get it shooting tight groups. I got it to one inch groups at 10 metres but nowhere near my Turbo Tuned model 48.
Might just be the seal(guessing here, only from reading on these forums) but I don't really know. If I keep it I will probably do a Vortek kit in it with new seal and see what happens. But, if you are interested let me know.

I'll have to pass on the 48 for now but thanks for the offer. Trevor trust me I've thought about the bottoms up build several times. I work for a large aerospace company and have access to everything that would be needed from design to finsihed product. We call personal jobs like that G jobs and most of the managers are pretty flexible but I think my bosses would not be willing to let me go that far. I think I've found a good prospect for my gas ram Big Cat build, thanks to a forum member. I know I've read about a few guys that have done this before so any tips or tricks would be greatly appriaciated.
