Hi all new to gta and after lurking for a month or so I registered, great forum and enjoy it. Couple of questions, first I have a Beeman R10 that I bought in 1988 and have shot on and off for the last 23 yrs. and recently got it out again and after a week of shooting it I began having problems cocking it and discovered that the mainspring was broken. My question is who can I send it to for repair. I know I could send it to Beeman but was wondering if someone else might be better? I know that I do not have the time, tools or skill to do it myself. It has been a great rifle and would like to get it back to where it was when I bought it. Years ago shortly after I bought it my neighbor who I let use it broke it and I sent it to Beeman for repair and had them supertune it has been great until now. Also have a Marksman Model 55 that I bought shortly after in 1988 for my son. I was told when I when bought it that it was made by the same company in Germany does anyone know anything about this Rifle. Thanks

Welcome to the GTA ghart!!! Take a look in the Mall at top right of header you should see a couple in there.

Well, Beeman doesn't exist anymore in the same way they did back when you bought the rifle.
Even back then, they didn't manufacture anything, they pretty much just imported airguns and rebranded them. Even in their heyday, I wasn't too impressed with their repair service (or customer service for that matter).
Like Jay said in his reply, you can look in the GTA Mall link in the info bar (under the picture of the gun up above). Additionally, there are several folks here who can replace a spring for you, maybe one of them is even local, so you don't have to ship! Where do you live?

Your marksman 55 is most likely a combination of BSF and HW parts like my marksman 72 IIRC. Joe

Thank You All for your responses. Also got a personal message offering to repair it. Haven't made a decision yet but will explore either airwerks or the personal offer. Thanks again Gary
