I am having a heck of time sighting this thing in, using the 6 o'clock hold I cannot the rear sight low enough. I am shooting 1" groups at 10 yards but am almost 3"s high and have no adjustment left. Should I go to the steel breech and get better sights?? Thanks! Shawn

Yup thought about that or building up front sight. What do ya think about steel breech, looks like a good option. Thanks! Shawn

Yes, I just did that to my 1377 with 18 in barrel. Bought one from crosman. I would highly recommend it. Get one today and use the 20offtuesday coupon code at crosman website. Do it before 12 pm or else you have to wait till next Tuesday. Also they have free shipping for orders over $50. Better hurry.

On my 1377, I filed down the notch as far as possible but it still wasn't enough. I then filed/sanded down the flat bottom of the rear sight, took off about an 1/8". It worked out well like that but I ended up just getting a red dot anyways.
