..suddenly 50 yards out something catches my eye towards my left walking thru the corn field and out into the open, a nice size YOTE!...I couldn't believe my eyes, I was getting the crosshairs lined up and was all shaky and my pulse was being reflected in the scope, he stops for a millisecond and sees me...I line up the crosshairs right between his eyes ...

About 30 yds with the .25 M-rod. Didn't get a kill. The yote's frontal skull acted like a tanks frontal armor. The extreme slope made the pellet ricochet right off. It rang his bell all right but others then taught me you need the side skull shot between eye and ear to take them down. So now forewarned with said knowledge let's see who gets their first yote first!
