New to airguns, started w/ a C&G airsoft then upgraded to a $150 wallyworld .22 break barrel . After alot of patience , pellets , and practice , I was able to get 3/4" groups @ 12 yrds.(the distance of my indoor range). I then got my first crow @ 50 yrds ! I was hooked .Then after many hours of YouTube , I decided on the Benjamin Discovery. 22 pump combo . ( $ being a factor). So , I order it on the first from a.g.d. , then get an e mail the following day saying my order is now on back order . No worrys ecept with all this free time to wait and a credit card, istarted to buy alot of mods.. before I go crazy and broke , what are your thoughts on this gun and these mods.. TKO break , extra barrel band w/ barrel spacer , aftermarket valve screws , brass trigger , brass power adjuster , hammer spring , brass bolt , transfer port , bipod , sling , leapers scop and mounts ? "dang" , I could of bought an mrod . Any advice would be great before I start installing these mods . Any 413 airgunners out there ? None of my friends share my addiction ( to airguns)

Hello Christopher, if you type discovery or disco in the search block it will bring up more info than you can handle. These guys on here totally amaze me with there knowledge of air guns. A new disco owner myself I just went thru this so here is my 2 cents worth.
1- TKO yes great ( discos-r-us also sells a threaded adaptor for a break that takes no mod of the forster cap I do not know of a threaded break that works as good as a tko not saying there is not I just don't know)
2- extra barrel band yes or barrel will move
3- valve screws if your not pumping over 2000 psi not needed
4-trigger do the 3 screw mod then see how u likMre it first I did it and was very pleased with result
5-on the power adjuster yes BUT I would wait for the drop in ssg from wicked air fourm name OLDPRO if he does with it what he did for the marauder it will be special MR STERNE (rsterne) developed this great device read how to increase the efficiency of a pcp if you get a power adjuster make sure its one you can change the spring without taking the gun apart
6- For now get another hammer spring cut 2 1/2 coils off and it will increase your shot count and you really need a chrony

Thanks a ton . I already purchased the valve screws . Should I just go ahead and install w/ brass power adjuster (I did get the one that you can swap out the spring)or leave them out n try to return them ? Also I found a depinger that looks like a cap (open on one end w/ a small hole on the other), it installs open end first down front of airtube pushed against airguage . How would that even work ?its made of alluminum , found it on ebay .

It's nice to have money. My advice is to go out and shoot it. See how you like it.

I wish I had $ . My only child is the victim of an unsolved homicide , and I tried to drink n drug the pain away . But it only made it worse . So happy to say im 2yrs. clean an sober .And I dicided I needed a hobby to keep my mind occupied and chose airguns . I saved the money that used to be spent on booze and such . Sometimes ill go the whole month w/ no money in my pocket just to make a purchase of $100. I've never made more than $20,000 a yr in my life. So two years of sacrifice and I have $250 rifle w/ $400 worth of add ons. "Plink , Don't Drink !"
Happy airgunnin'
