One last question... for now... I have a spin loc tank so if I put my valve on the regulator, and the regulator on the tank, i will have two manometer and two quick fill. I can't use the quick fill pin on original AF valve. Will the original AF manometer tell me the PSI of the air in the regulator and the regulator manometer showing the tank's remaining psi? If this is true, that will make that second gauge very useful.
Dale,Thanks for the reply. I think this will work perfectly. I am still trying to see how consistent my shots are without regulator. I just ran a shot of 110 shots with 14.3 grain crosman premiers and a shot of 70 shots using H&N 21 grain pellets. Once I chart the results, I'm going to see what's the optimum PSI I want to set the regulator and buy one off ebay. Thanks for your help! Also, I do have another question... my condor ss (which is only a month old) has an issue with the safety. When i cock the gun and load the pellet, when I get ready to shoot, the safety does not disengage. I have to cock the bolt again with pellet already loaded and then I try to disengage safety and then it works. Is this something you encounter with your condor? I had one before this that did this and got a replacement from AF but it's odd it's happening again. Any thoughts? This doesn't happen every single time but enough times that it gets annoying...
