have a option to possible trade on a "Diana" Model 24, .177 caliber. it's a older gun want to know what it's worth? are they good guns?i would assume so being a rws made in Germany..

It's a gun that I would not pay a huge amount for, but would be nice in my collection.:) Small gun- low-power, but a good one from what I understand. If it was in really good condition, I'd still want to pay in the 100 dollar or less range. It all depends on why you want it. I like old guns that I can also shoot. Some guns I will buy regardless of their market value, and this would be one of them for me. Not a practical buy, but just a fun one for me personally.

great and good to know.i may not do this deal.thank you.

They are worth around $150 plus/minus depending on condition. They are excellent air guns; the "poor man's R7" in my opinion. Mine is a .22 which is not the ideal caliber for the platform, and I would rather have the .177.
If you can get the price into that range and you want a compact, accurate little springer with a great trigger, they are a very good investment.

Depends upon condition and if it has an adjustable trigger, one with the screws in the blade. However, both of mine have direct sear triggers which aren't too bad. $150 is about what a good one will go for. Maybe $20 - $30 less if a non-adjustable trigger. BTW, build quality is right up there with the 34, just a scaled-down version with a nice, short cocking arc.
Lizzie, unless you hit that magic pawn shop, $100 or less will get you a beater.

No doubt, which is why I specified it would be nice in my collection, but I wouldn't be willing to spend a huge amount on it- I would like it, but doubt I would get much use out of it, lol.

I've had one for a couple of years (scoped) and consistently get 1 hole 5 shot groups at 10 mtrs. At 25 yds it holds quarter size groups. It's really a fun gun to shoot and easy to use for a small frame person. For anything other than sparrows and starlings beyond 25 yds. max and WELL placed shots, I'd look for something with more power. I would have to think long and hard to accept $150 for mine but it would be a high fair price in excellent condition.
