That's looking real fine there Ced!!
Now is the time to do some STIPPLING or Checkering for a better grip ... I helps SOOOO much Really like the recontour and adjustable butt
Yeah,Forgot to mention the recontour -> nice improvement over the stock "lines" I will likely add some measure of that when I re-tinker. Motorhead, Stippling is definitely in my future, my confidence level (& tools) just arn't there yet - but the idea is still churning in my mind Without something extra, the (plain) BAM B50 stock just looks to naked - IMO.
Hey Tofazfou,Nice job. The natural look is very clean looking Where did you get the adjustable recoil pad? When I did my B50, I used some Maple Minwax stain and Tru-Oil, and I cut the Stock's butt about 1" to lessen the length of trigger pull. However, now that it's been finished for about 6 months, I wish I had gone a little darker to give the stock more character.I also would have taken more meat off the forearm to slim it down. IMO, the BAM B50 stock look's rather clumsy/clunky out of the box.My stock lost at least 3 to 4 oz and will lose more when I re-do it.Kirk
