NP2 screws snap due to recoil

Only had the gun for about 4 months and up till now was pretty happy with it. Took a while to settle it down and get it dialed in but it's been lights out for me for the past month or so.
Was down by the barn pigeon shooting and when I pulled the trigger the screws holding the barrel to the end of the stock sheared away leaving the gun very unstable. Crosman support is closed so I'll have to try them another day but real shame this gun wasn't able to hold up even half a year. Even worse the wild shot due to the guns failure only wounded the bird and I had to finish it off by hand.

They are Chinese screws.
Get better ones and it won't happen again.

They snapped off in the gun. Can't even fix it without drilling it out. If Crosman can't do anything for me that'll be the next step.

Yes, that's probably what you have to do.
Get a set of these.

If you bought the gun new and have only had it four months your are well withing the warranty period. If you did not register the gun on line you will probably need proof of purchase to get warranty service. When you talk to the customer service representative request a shipping label. There is no reason for you to spend $50 to return the defective gun. They weren't YOUR screws that broke!
If you have installed a different trigger or any other accessory remove it before shipping. Crosman won't repair your gun, they'll send a brand new one. If yours came with a scope so will the new gun.
As far as screws are concerned - one of the first things I did with my Crosman gun was replace the factory Phillips screws with metric Allen head screws. I not only did this for the forearm but the one in the trigger guard as well. I opted for stainless. The screws are all common lengths.

That's about the weirdest thing I have seen. How does a break barrel shear off both forearm screws at the same time? Normally with it sitting in the stock there is no play front to rear and the rear screw is also holding it. About 15 years ago I did make the mistake of trying to cock a break barrel with the rear screw out. That wasn't a pretty site
