Thanks for the vid.
He uses an '09 gun.
He never says how many pumps he uses for his test, but once he is seen pumping to 10 pumps.

Already found signs of rust forming on the new 760. On the barrel and pump tube. scuffed it up a bit and put some black anti rust paint on. It's the climate here.
Had it shooting pretty good yesterday afternoon. 7 yards. It still shows a preference for Gamo Match pellets. Next in line is Crosman hollow points. Not super tight groups, but pretty tight, and round. I'm running low on the Gamos. Last time I ordered some from Amazon, they were $4.99 for a tin of 500. The price is twice that right now. Put some in my cart and will wait. I'd go measure the group sizes, but my target is on my pellet trap in our carport building, and it is POURING here right now. And with my injured knee....
I mentioned above that this barrel, after 200-300 rounds, was very dirty. Maybe I'll run some patches through and see how dirt is is again. Does a smooth bore get dirty sooner than a rifled barrel?

I happen to have both a ca. 1992 smooth bore 760 parts gun and a ca. 1999 rifled 760B (didn't realize these were rare!). When I was converting the 760B to gas I played with both barrels on the same gun and in my experience the rifled barrel would cut the group size by about 1/2 at given distances. I didn't do hardly any pellet testing, this was all with CPHP and there may have been other variables. Even with the rifled barrel the accuracy isn't astounding at 20 yards, but it's still very fun to plink with.
Does anyone know which gun (if any) crosman was borrowing rifled barrels from in the years they made them? I know they have gone back and forth many times from smooth to rifled, seemingly on a whim; but I would assume the barrels were shared with more than one gun.

Mine is shooting better the more I shoot it. It started shooting Crosman hunter pellets much better. It had pretty much rejected those before. Same thing with Crosman Premier wadcutters. It's now shooting quite well with those. Got several groups around 3/8" at 7 yards rested. It's ready for rat shooting now, as soon as my knee gets better.
I just measured my best group from yesterday with a tape measure. 5 shots using Crosman Premier wadcutters at 7 yards off a rest into one hole of 3/16" center to center. Can I do that every time? No way! But, it does show whats possible. That about equals my other best group with the Daisy wadcutter, but that one was only a 3 shot group.
During the session, I zero'd in using the Crosman wadcutters, and I'm going with those for now. Still using 6 pumps, so there is another variable to test: more or less pumps, to see how that effects the group sizes.
My other question about this airgun, is how long will it hold up? After reading about owners breaking off the stock while pumping, I am sticking to my pumping method, which is easy and puts zero strain on the stock. From a sitting position at my bench, I put the end of the buttstock on my right leg. Grab the pump lever with my left hand, and open it all the way. I do a short pause there (for uniformity), then put my right hand on the top side of the airgun is so that, as I close the pump handle, each hand comes together, but are on opposite sides of the 760. Little or no strain on the gun, and easy to do. This gun is plastic, shoots well, and I want it to last.
