Title: Chinese Sidelever B-30 or B-21 from Pellettrap.com
Post by: bluzjamer on January 19, 2011, 02:16:07 PM
Tried to order one of these from Pellettrap.com and even though it took my info there was no price that came up on the invoice and I didn't receive a confirmation so I don't think the order went through. Are these guys still in business.
Where is the best place to buy one of these.

LOL, I was about to open a similar thread...

Another one that is bogus is www.gungarage.com/techforce.htm (http://www.gungarage.com/techforce.htm), shows all the items as available, but it is another fi$hing site.

Tried to order the High Tech Chinese 31 (AKA XS-B3-1), no joy, Out of Stock!

Nature of the beast I guess. There are some around for not much more money. I will probably grab one or two in the next couple of days. Seem like a nice rifle. Can't touch a RWS 48 for that kinda dough. I know you get what you pay for but they don't look bad. I was going to say I should have gotten one years ago but they do look like they have improved from a while ago.

bluzjamer, I don't think you'll find any complaints about these rifles from owners. I'm partial to the B30.

I second the B-30 recommendation.

I have a B21. It was good enough as an imitation that I wasn't heart-broken to send off my RWS 48 to a new home.

BTW pellettrap has quite a deal on the B40... $0.00!

TPW stop french kissin that Gator and make a gun case out of it.

I think I'm going to order the B-30...I wish I could get it in 22 but seems they are only left in 177.
The B-21 is available in 22. Is there a big difference in the two?

I was thinking more of a nice pair of boots and a classy belt.

Mike of Best Airguns will tell you the main difference between the B21 and the B30 is that the B30 has a shorter barrel. He said that internally they are the same. One additional thing I thought about is that the B21 has an extend-able cocking arm (iirc) while the B30 does not. I prefer the B30. It's basically a refresh of the 21. The B30 in .22 is very nice. ;) Maybe you could put a "WTB" ad in the water, and see if you get any nibbles.

Ok...so what is the deal with Pellet-guns.net. Are they out of business also?
Call the number (it is a magic jack number...not a good sign) and they are not taking calls.
Have tried to email them and get no reply.
I'm guessing they must have a pellet-trap connection also!
They were they only ones that had a B-30.

I posted a want ad here.

Just placed an order with R & L for a Titan and a Rem Summit...price was just too good to pass up.
Have placed WTB ads everywhere for the B-30 even consider the B-21...22 cal is first choice.
The R & L pair were remans. Since they will most likely be tuned it wasn't a big deal.

Finally scored one in brand new condition, XS-B3-1 (.177), will post pics soon and my review of it. Could not believe it, the only guy at the gun show selling XS-B3-1 and on the meantime bought also a QB6 (.22).

I would have bought two of the QB6, but it was the last one. I enjoy it more than the XS-B3-1, the .22 caliber gives that extra punch.

It was incredible, in the whole floor there it was this humble old black guy polishing the rifles and all of them BAM/Xisico/ Industry rifles. To be more correct, what was left of the air rifles. I may pick up another one, but not sure yet.

Industry XS-B3-1 and QB6. The XS needs to be lubed, its bone dry and every piece of metal can be heard when cocking the chamber. On the other hand, the QB6 is smooth as butter, accurate with a surprising easy trigger.

Excellent score, Grizz! Where did you buys these? I'm really liking that GB6 a bunch. The B3-1 is cool too. I had one once. Don't see the 6 up for sale often at all.
