How many pump strokes to fill the BT65
«

Took me about 160 pump strokes to fill the BT65 from about 80 bar to 200 bar with my pump. I am still a young 60 something, but that is a pretty good workout. Looks like the Darkside is going to cost me more dough for a tank...

I feel that!
Know what is available fill capability wise locally before you plunk down the cash. I have a 44cf 4500psi paperweight, as a hard lesson to that assumption of being in the heart of a dive paradise.

My at44 long tube is 90 pumps from 100-200 bar. I only shoot from 190-150 bar so it's only 45 strokes. Screw pumping that much, I'd sell the pump and get a tank.

I will primarily use my BT65 for hunting and most of the time will not shoot it down to far so the pump is still a viable option. I do still have my break barrel Octane in .25 cal if I want to do target shooting or want to spend a couple days in the field.
