...as reading his threads into the night for the past couple years got me thinking. Thinking about FT shooting. I used to shoot small bore rifle (.22LR) and 10m Air rifle too in college and shot trap in high school. On and off over the years I have missed competition shooting but haven't given it serous thought until I read about FT shoots. Sounded cool, but nothing was close it appeared and I didn't have a AG for FT use. Then Motorhead sold his tricked out BAM-50. I was drooling...I had no money (just bought the M-Rod)...I PM'd him anyway...and then it sold to someone else .Started reading more about FT shooting. Started thinking of selling the QB-79 to fund something else. Thought about converting the QB-79 to HPA. Read a thread about the South PA FT shoot that was only a little over an hour from me .Sold the QB-79 to a wonderful GTA member...The Brown truck is supposed to show up today! What am I getting you all will ask?Well it rhymes with Bam-50 in .177 from our beloved AG brother, Mike Melick. Thanks Motorhead...its all your fault BZ

I am waiting to hear your thoughts on the gun once you have shot it. I'd probably go with the B51. I like thumbhole stocks.
We need to keep up with each other.I am working with a B50 in .22 from Mike.Great gun, mike has I think worked out the valve lock problem..So, what is the bad you see in the gun at this point so far?The good? For me, the trigger, and shot count for the good..The bad for me? A valve lock issue, but that is being solved. If that is the only issue I run up against, I am good.Oh, mike says if you bought the rifle from him, it comes with an aftermarket valve..So no broken ones like the factory sent guns..Oh, and it feel so solid being steel and real wood. Not like the plastic guns..

Pretty much what everyone else has said, good and bad is true.Simply put they need work. Can they be shot in stock form? Yes, but some cleaning and polishing is much, much needed. If you buy a BAM from MM and you don't want to do this work I would pay him the extra monies to do it for you.My 2 cents out of the gate.BZ
