I was shooting them over the chrony in my basement which gives me 15 feet distance. What gun did you plan to shoot them in ? If it is one in my siggy I will load them up and check both FPS and accuracy up to 25 yards (best I can get in the backyard).Thank you, sir. The Fusion or the Disco (is it in 177 or 22?) are about the class of rifle I'm thinking about with this pellet. Maybe this weekend I'll get over to his place and we'll do some more serious testing than he's done so far. It all depends on whether duty calls or if I'll have time to goof off. We don't have a PCP YET, so we'll be shooting them through my CFX and his Gamo XXX (can't remember what model he has). Anyway, am seriously considering a Disco (or Marauder) or a Fusion. I'm thinking that the light pellet won't retain much energy out there past 30 yards, but his report is that it carries well - much better than his standard pellet (not sure what he's been shooting lately). You know that I was replying to this post (Post #6), that you had posted earlier. You stated that you and your freind were gonna shoot them from a CFX, and his Gamo XXX. You also state that you 2 don't even own a PCP. Why break your guns?Nobody with a respectable powered Co2 or PCP,,, would consider using such a lightweight pellet. They have too much power available, for such a lite pellet. Not to mention the lack of accuracy ANY liteweight pellets exhibit, when they go to into and thru the "Transonic Range"...both upspeed and downspeed. It's all about "balance" with pellet shooting. I think if you look at it all, a little deeper, you will understand the dynamic. I hope you will. Peace

C'mon StevenG. My actual posted statement was 10 yards versus 25 yards. Please keep my posts intact, and in context. I originally replied to Post #6 here in this thread. I replied to a couple of members that were going to shoot these sub6g pellets, from 12fpe spring air rifles, of much more power than a small 10m target rifle. I'm a CMP and NRA member. If you have issues about your expertise about this subject, you are more than welcome to PM me. I'll help you. AmBroCol. I doubt you'll get much feedback from using such a lite pellet in a Mrod, Hammerli 850, Pneuma, or similar PCP. If you're looking to a competition 10m pellet to use in a PCP 10m rifle...there are established pellets that may "fill the bill" for you.

Columbians have laws about pellets?Really? So they can't make their own? I am not doubting you just the first I have ever heard of such a thing.
AmBroCol. Not too comfy about your thoughts for installing a soft lead insert in the sleeve of the pellet. Not too sure that Columbian law would look kindly, on those pellets in your posession. Besides...as soon as you add the insert of "soft lead"...you've added weight. So you know you lose velocity. ? Be safe friend
I did not get a chance to shoot at distance however shot inside with the Umarex Fusion with 2 new 12g co2 carts installed.I shot twice before starting to record the FPS.***** NOTE **** I shot 1 RWS then 1 GAMO then 1 JSB then 1 CPHP ... reason I did this was to try and keep the shots for each pellet type in the same range co2 wise. So the second shot under the RWS is really the 5th pellet out of the gun ...RWS Diablo Basic7.0gr643 fps = 6.43 fpe647.2647.0655.7667.6656.3656.4652.3645.1632.7629.2631.9GAMO5.56gr650.2 fps = 5.25 fpe651.0659.3672.5679.0677.0669.7652.8655.2642.0632.5615.9JSB 13.43gr552.7 fps - 9.09 fpe560.6 559.3570.1556.5557.1548.6531.7 - low co2 ? shot #32519.6523.1504.3487.5CPHP 7.9grskippedskipped649.7 fps = 7.41 fpe665.2652.5646.0644.0638.8629.6620.4621.0597.8
Have had such a bad time with current Gamo pellets that I won't be trying any of their new offerings any time too soon. Changed the WC's and Hunters a few years back, not for the better, and so far everything I've tried has been "carp".
