Read a story about a guy hunting in Mexico with one. Has anyone built one. Looks to be a simple build if one does not rush it. A poor mans mliliniom pumper of sorts. Iron Hand

I bet a person could achieve 575 fps with a 25 gr pellet or 650 fps with 20 gr pellets. Never seen it done though.

I was getting 630 fps from an extended nose valve 2100b pump and 20.1g H&N before it became a .22 I am pretty sure I could have made 650 fps with it...
That was with a .12 ci valve...
My last project an MK1322 should be at 700+ w/20.1g if I put the .25 barrel to work... that is with a .24 ci valve...
As far as a 2100/2200 modded to 25 cal well Jeff Wolfgast did it... I think the biggest problem is the breech/loading tray...
As much as I Love the 2100/2200/766 line the 13xx platform is easier to make a .25 from...the stock valve is about .07ci way to small...
I want a valve extension to get a .35 ci or so valve for the MK pump tube (~same swept volume as a 2100) I think that is about the best you can do unless you go full custom...

Thanks for all of the good feed back. Maybe a 22.cal might be more feasible. Have any of you folks done such a conversion. What would be a good barrel to use. I am still trying to figure transfer port seals. Iron Hand

Honestly I think that it would be easier to just buy a 2200 they still can be found with a little patience...
