I have several Crosmans, of various vintages. And some have had minor issues. But, in the last few months, I have called and ordered a Prod trigger group, and had it delivered to my door in less than a week. And reasonably priced.I called and ordered a 2240 valve assembly, reasonably priced, and in my hand in less than a week.I called about a replacement barrel for my early production gen2 marauder, in less than a week, I had a new barrel in hand, no charge. And it shoots like a dream. They are building guns to a price point like most other companies in today's competitive market and economy. But they have shown they will stand behind their product with customer service after the sale.and if need be, they will pull a gun from the shelves if a massive problem arises (the first run of NP2's for example) and do what it takes to correct the problem. If you decide to abstain from crosman products, it should probably be for more than a few weeks as you stated in your first post.As no one can correct any real issues in that short of a period of time..
I wouldn't be too concerned Tom. Crosman makes a whole lot more good stuff than poor. I have never started a post saying "I just got a new 2289 and nothing is wrong with it." I know happy people are usually quiet and unhappy folks are quite verbal.David, sorry you had problems. Hate to see you go. Have a good day.
Just a random thought.....I wonder how they compare to automobile recalls & fubas? Where is J D Power when you need them?
