Don't know about the hat sun but the 350 is an awesome shooter! My 22 cal 350 mag is a hammer and perfect for hunting and accurate enough for target shooting as well. It is a very hard to beat rifle and one I think everybody should have.

Hey cali shooter,
If the $$ & Walnut stock aren't big issues ---> I'd go for the RWS 350.
If the Walnut stock is not an issue, but the $$ is, get the Xisico Model XS28M from Flying Dragon Airguns ($177 to $229).
A tune for another $100 would also be a great idea
I have the Hatsan 135 in .25 cal, it's a beautiful gun (& Beast), but IMHO it's too Heavy and is a bucking bronco in terms of hold sensitivity
The Hatsan 135 will never be my "Go To" gun; however, if you hunt the 135 will surely make some Big holes
My Two Cents............

I have the 135. It's a true hammer also l have the xs 28 . Each one will get the job done. however the 28 is a better shooting and around better gun. Little less power much easier to cock and has a higher fps than it's rws counterpart . I will soon be selling the 135.

Hatsan 95/99 is more like the RWS 350. The 135 is much more airgun.

x2 what audi54 said. Different guns really . I personally would choose the 135. I'd get a 95 over a 350.

Hey cali shooter,
How do you want to use the gun?
Since you seem to be $$ sensitive and like Hatsan stocks, I hands down recommend the Hatsan 95 vs. the Striker; and you should at least get a Hawke 3x9x40 scope. The springer version is $160 & scope is $75 (Pyramyd Air); hence for $235 your good to go (no shipping). IMHO, the Vortex isn't worth the extra cash. If you hunt, get the .22 cal. over the .177 (if you go on Safari ->.25 cal).
The gun is superior to the Striker 1000x as it comes with a real Turkish Walnut stock, Quattro trigger and SAS. The Striker and 95 come with the same scope (Optima) which is only good for a paper weight.
All Hatsan's have a less refined build vs. the RWS, hence I would recommend a tune by you or a pro. Once tuned, it looks better than a RWS 34 or 350, has more power than the 34 and almost = to the 350. The Hatsan's are more hold sensative vs. the RWS's, but should be =ly accurate.
My Two Cents..............I would not buy the 135 unless you go on an extented Safari

spiral groove i was actually talking about the rws 350 striker scope but thanks for the advise a lot of people have recommended the model 95 and some say they are superior to some rws models and like you said i will definently going to be tuning my guns/lubing and deburing etc. as well as maybe getting some vertex kits

I've had my 135 just over a week, and have run only 300 shots thru it. It is a BIG, HEAVY monster, unlike any springer I've had. At first, it was loud ( dieseling ) and clangy with a big recoil. It's gonna take over 50 lbs to cock it. Amazingly, after only 100 shots, it has calmed down quite a lot. The clang turned into a clink, and it's no louder than my bull whisper. Although it's heavy, it balances very well and is very easy to point off hand. Power is amazing for a springer, and accuracy is improving as I break it in. So far, it likes JSB 18gr domes @ between 855-875 fps so far, but several more styles yet to be tested. Took in the woods the other day and hit a squirrel in the jaw with a cro-magnum and it nearly de-capitated it. This will handle bigger game, as foxes are high on my list. Oh.. The LOP is a little long, so I removed the wide recoil pad and replaced it with one of the provided spacers.. Problem solved ! The Quattro trigger is firm but crisp, and power aside, is the nicest feature of this beautiful gun !

Really loving my Hatsan 95 Vortex!
My Hawke 2.5-10x44 Varmint scope should be here tomorrow but I almost don't want to quit using my sights. I have a squirrel problem and they have a chimpanzee trail through the trees at about 65 yards. I could nail them at 50 yds with sights but I haven't gotten it down to small enough size to guarantee clean shots past that and I need the scope. The 95 , for me, is a great woods gun without sights. It's not too heavy or too long and it's very accurate with the included sights. It doesn't come with sling mounts a so I've ordered a barrel clamp swivel mount which I plan to use. The only problem so far after 500 shots was around 250-300 shots the stock mount screw inside the trigger housing needed to be re-torqued (use blue Loctite). I waited for sale prices and I've got just a little over $300 in this setup and I'm a very happy camper.

thanks joeryan and freebird
joe I've heard from many people it balances very well and also the weight and cocking weight obviously is a huge factor my question to you is the accuracy what you expected and about what range are you getting oh are you using a scope? i thought the 18-20 grain pellets would be good in this gun i haven't heard much about what it shoot well so keep me post and free bird I've head only great things its got questioning everything I've been deciding for a month between rws 350 rws 34 hats an 95 and 135 and possibly some flying dragons but 60 yard shots with iron sights either your a amazing shot or you got a golden gun

Cali, as I said, my 135 is still in the break-in stage and didn't even mount a scope until the gun calmed down. I've been doing a lot of cleaning during this process, getting the comp chamber gunk out of the barrel, so, my POI changes every time. I'm now using a UTG 3x9x40 that's a solid fit on the weaver rail that's braised on the receiver. At 25 yds, it seems to hold an inch or so c-to-c, but I'm expecting that to improve after the barrel gets leaded-up a little. It likes to punch big holes in sheet metal scrap at 150 yds.. Fun while breaking-in. Got a bunch of new pellets on the way, and it may prefer one of those, but for now the lubed JSBs are doing ok .
