Good choice Matt.
I am inching closer to my first Hatsan purchase and would like to know if anyone has regretted purchasing a refurbished model vs. a brand new model. Thanks!
sweet ! looking forward to your review and pics please
☆☆☆☆if you buy a Hatsan refurb "ONLY BUY FROM AIRGUNPROSHOP.COM that is Rick Eutsler" he stands behind his products 100%.He will bend over backward to help you.
The only way I would buy any refurbished air gun is if it came with a 100 percent 30 day money back guarantee from a reliable seller.
Thanks for all the great feedback on refurbs. Freebird Iĺl gladly post reviews/comparison info when I get one. I'm still on fence between a 95 in 177 and a 135 in 22.
Matt sorry for the slight hi jack but what fps at the muzzle are you getting from the Vortek kitted D34 , I just bought 1 from Ancient1one that is already kitted and pro tuned just not broken in

Yes and no.I agree that Rick seems extremely helpful and he responded very quickly and in detail to an e-mail inquiry I sent him about Hatsans - terrific service there. However, if there is a problem, if you have a major issue with the refurb airgun you just purchased that convinces you that this gun isn't a keeper, well, you are SOL other than resorting to the warranty - AirgunProShop will not accept a return on refurbished guns for any reason. The APS website states this and Rick reiterated it in his e-mail to me. And while I think most people buying refurbished items of various sorts tend to report that what they receive is in as-new or 9+/10 condition, AirgunProShop does have a disclaimer that some of their refurbished products may have cosmetic blemishes and signs of use that can be significant. And don't forget that APS's guns, except their PCP models, come with no accessories (i.e. no scopes), which is no big deal if you were planning on replacing the Optima scope that comes with a lot of their rifles anyway. However, not everyone reports that the Optimas are worthless (I have a feeling QC with these really cheap Chines scopes is a coin toss - I bought a Beeman Silver Kodiak X2 at Wallyworld for $99 and its cheapo 4x32 scope has no features, but it has a bright, clear and useable image, whereas the Centerpoint that came with my Benjamin appears similar, but is a POS), so while you are saving $40 or thereabouts by buying a refurbished gun, you aren't getting with it a scope that is worth (maybe) $30, which narrows down the value of that discount. Plus, you will be getting a 90 day warranty, not a full one-year warranty. So I guess it's up to you whether the $40 or so savings on the gun is worth the diminished value and risk. APS has refurbished Hatsan 95s for $105 and the 135 for $167, but if you wanted a new rifle, right now MidwayUSA has those two models on sale for $133 and $197.49, respectively (not in all calibers, though and a few weeks ago had the 95 for $113 new), so there is only a $30 difference between new and refurbished.
I never had dealings with Rick but being a pastor you learn people quick or sink!! LOL I would not hesitate getting anything from him! He is not only trust worthy but he is humble not snooty!JMHO Pappywith4

Hi Rick,Since I started the thread I just wanted to chime in again and say thanks for your recent posts! I've both enjoyed and learned much from your video reviews and various articles. While I decided to order new vs. refurb, I have heard nothing but good things about your service and knowledge of Hatsan products!
