I'm looking to buy a qb78 in .22 cal, however ^&$@_=s won't have them in stock for a good couple of weeks. Should I wait to get the deluxe? Or should I just buy te original? What are the perks of a deluxe over the regular? I want to order from ^&$@_=s to get the xp tune kit. Any input woul be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Deluxe has a gold coloured trigger and bolt handle and a larger OD barrel (15mm vs. 14mm).... I'm not sure if the stock is different....

Delux stock is more full sized with a rubber butt pad. Believe the barrel band on the "D" is metal where the standard 78 is plastic. USE to be that the 78D has a nicer polish/blue, but the last standard 78's I saw were nice than they use to be so that difference may be minor.
