Question for anyone who has ever reassembled a 2100

I had to replace the o-rings on my 2100's valve, and upon reassembly I noticed that the cocking lever rattles around freely. I'm worried that I may have forgotten to replace a piece, but I didn't have any leftover pieces. Upon checking the exploded parts view on crosman's website, it appears that I reassembled it correctly. It very well may be that I just never noticed the rattle before, but I am a bit concerned that perhaps I muffed something up when I reassembled it. To 2100 owners out there: does your 2100's cocking lever rattle freely when you shake the rifle?

On both of my 2100s there is no rattling other than BBs if you have any in it. Even with the pump/forearm down there is no rattling. Somthing is not right friend.

I think I've discovered the problem. According to the exploded parts list, the interlock (766-017) is the part I'm referring to. What I think I may have done is placed the small washer (766-079) on the screw running through the barrel band (766C005), when in actuality it belongs adjacent to the interlock, on the same pin. The rifle fires just fine, but that dang rattle is driving me nuts, so it looks like I'll be tearing it apart again tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for checking theirs to see if they rattle. I truly appreciate it!
Apparently I'm not allowed to post external links yet, so here's the url for the exploded parts list:
crosman.com/pdf/manuals/2100%20&%20AM77%20EVP%20&%20PL.pdf
EDIT: Problem solved. Thanks again!

Indeed it was. There must be a tiny bit of wiggle room without it, because as soon as I put it where it belonged and tightened everything back up not a sound could be heard when I gave it a few shakes. I'm thankful that's solved, you practically need an engineer, a surgeon, and a masseuse to get these dang things back together!

A little note on the interlock..... It isn't needed. The only purpose it serves is to prevent pulling the trigger with the breech open. I remove it on everyone one of these I go into.
Having the interlock removed will allow you to de-cock the unit. So when you are out in the field or have it pumped and ready by the door ...all you have to do is re-cock to make your shot. Your hammer spring and sear won't be under constant load nor will it be in position to go off if dropped or knocked over. The safety on these only blocks the trigger , not the sear.
Happy to hear you got it sorted...Now go out and have some fun!
