I have a few of the $100 FD pcp's ready for converting...they have no safety and a different valve than the first gen..same valve as the second gen rifles so no more major valve issues. the bolts have two O-rings to take up any slop in the bolt. The big difference is the exhaust port in the valve, the factory valve has a 1.5 mm exhaust port so speeds are in the 700 fps range in .177 at 1500 psi with very little report noise. I did open one valve port to 2mm and was getting 800 fps....funny thing with the stock valve is if the adjuster is run in all the way the velocity drops, back it out to the usual low power setting and the speed goes up!!! Haven't done shot count testing but it should be better than the first gen....if more power is needed it's there just need to open the exhaust port and do a little work on the spring etc...
