Finally did a complete chrony with my tuned AT44, Here is the list of mods I did:The valve mod Bob "Rsterne" posted a few years ago and decided to plug three holes, did the stock mods that allow me to adjust the hammer spring without removing the stock, my hammer spring is set at 0 preload. Polished the ends of the hammer spring and applied some moly grease in the side lever mechanism, hammer and spring. Here is a 37 shot string from 200-120bar I have a sweet spot at 95% with the 14.3 CPUMs for 30 shots, Bob stated he was getting 29 shots at 96% with the JSBs 18.13 and 2 turns of preload, since I was using 14.3 pellets (which are less efficient than 18.13) I think I am pretty close to his results. Here is the big question, should I leave her like this or should I plug the remaining two holes and see if my efficiency improves? My goal is 28fpe with 14.3 CPUM for 60 meters and 30/29 fpe with 18.1 JSBs for 100 yards
Hey Pablo,I came up with an average velocity of 916.11 fps, and Efficiency of 1.09% using 185cc tank, going from 2900 to 1740 psi (CPUM). I personally think you should be able to get an efficiency of 1.20%; and if you go for an average velocity of 850 to 875, you should get 50 shots or better. For now, you may want to just shoot the gun and have fun for awhile, before you contemplating more surgery
