New to air rifles, purchased a marauder couple months ago. Two dozen squirrels later I'm looking at this fx revolution, but am concerned about the mixed reviews. Any advice? Thanks.

I have a Revolution. The rifle is a hoot to shoot ..........when it works. I also have an FX Monsoon that I wanted to turn into a bullpup. Same deal. Hoot to shoot........when it works. Nothing against FX in partiuclar, not bashing them in the least, but I see that so far neither FX nor Kalibr have come up with a RELIABLE semi-auto. I don't know if fowling is the issue, leaks from the various tubing, etc. but others as well as myself have found them not to be reliable (and they aren't cheap!!)
I never carried the Kalibr Colibri for that reason. It never worked as a semi-auto. I am not sure of the functioning of the Evanix (never owned one, so I won't say).
I just don't have the time to dig into either my Revo or Monsoon. It's "on the list", along with a couple of Willys Jeeps and a 1937 Buick Century that also need to be rebuilt. I am anticipating I'll retire at 70-ish. Maybe then I can shoot my semi-autos from my antique cars.

I do know that you need to keep the air return tube clean & don't go under 150bar with the Revolution. They are a hoot to shoot & pretty accurate too.
