Before I owned a PCP I built a booster to fill HPA tanks, when one rifle I bought came with a pump I automated the pump after using it twice as an "away from home" backup.

I have a benjamin pump. I also have a 88CF SCBA tank. the condor gets so few shots per fill, the hand pump is almost useless, but i still use it occasionally.

Bought a Hill MKIII pump, as I am able bodied and the pump was cheaper than a tank. I also would need to drive about 50 miles round-trip to get a fill for a tank. That starts to get pretty expensive pretty fast. This hobby is expensive enough.
If tanks were cheaper and I had a fill station close by, I might have made a different choice. As it stands, a pump was really the only viable option for me.
