It took me quite a while to adjust to being able to keep the target in the scope when missed, adjust the hold, and refire before the squirrels shot down their hole.
Not trying to be nasty here, but this statement bothers me a bit.... It comes across like the primary concern was the second shot, not the first....QuoteIt took me quite a while to adjust to being able to keep the target in the scope when missed, adjust the hold, and refire before the squirrels shot down their hole.It kind of reminds me of the war movies where a GI holds his gun up over his head, shooting over a wall, and empties the clip.... simply putting a lot of lead downrange hoping to hit something.... Shouldn't every shot at a living creature be taken as if it is the only shot you have available to kill it quickly?.... I don't hit every time, but I strive to shoot as if I only have that one shot, even though I use a bolt-action repeater.... Not looking for a fight here, just sayin'....Bob

Nice rifle. A tad on the weak side of the power spectrum for my personal tastes, but nice all the same.Bob, I believe he was referring to losing sight picture when cocking the gun to fire another shot, by moving his head away from the stock. Some folks can cycle their gun just fine without losing sight picture. It's a marksmanship trait that's developed through habit & practice.
How about a gun that won't cost you an arm and both legs?
