Double action? Darn, I was really hoping for a real semi, battery powered would have been fine by me.

Delayed again untill the end of August!
More bugs maybe? Sheesh, by the time they finally get it out it will be too late for CO2 around here.

Double Action called Semi

It is far easier to design an auto than a semi-auto. Getting it to feed lead reliably is another story. Easiest to do a double action and call it a semi. Since that has been done by many & often it is the most expected avenue.
I had a customer who was asking if he could send his in to have it get a HOT valve. I think he was anticipating it showing up on PA's forever optimistic source dates.
I had to explain the process is NOT an across the board thing that can be done to all guns. The fact that is has an AS Tank set-up lends it to being taken to a HPA regulated layout via Tanks or remote with Coily to take the place of the AS Tank. How hard that will be in the available space will be the real question.
Any manufacture using the AS layout is generally looking to make their real coin with the AS 90 Gram sales as a CO2 supply solution so they can get as much for CO2 as Soda Stream. To counter the ludicrous margins the game will be to get the thing to use CO2 in Bulk or regulated HPA in the most reliable and cost effective way. That way you are paying for CO2 (an abundant resource) not some 10-50 times the cost to compensate a Board for going for the buck$, the AS way.
My assumption is that the manufacture is dealing with the realities of CO2 seals, meant to contain a vessels gas, once the 90 Gram has been punctured. Designers and manufactures almost invariably underestimate the cost and hassle to make that happen. I suspect a hired gun has been called in to accelerate the process, like on so many previous manufacturing efforts, that used CO2 as a power source. If it was easy anyone could do it but it is FAR FROM EASY! We will probably see the thing on the SIG booth next Shot but I would expect continued delays till they get it ready for Prime time. We have seen a number of products ONLY at SHOT and often the manufacture is doing a ground hog display(two years running) of what they wish they could of accomplish. This last SHOT was chock full of that sort of Vapor Hardware ready to roll (supposedly). Based on the mindless specs given by so many, the FANTASY show will carry on for many.

I have seen videos of the guns posted on Facebook by an individual who is "friends" with someone at sig.
And he had the first one out among the public.
But from the brief conversations we have had, and the videos he posted, I think he was not equipped to give a good and through testing and evaluation of the guns.
(No chrono, no real range faciclities) and his videos mostly consisted of it hitting a can in a field.
But no specs, nor good clear photos, opinions, observations, or comparisons to other guns real or airguns.
The idea interest me, I don't mind the belt feed.
The double action, may be a deal breaker, I would have to handle and shoot one before I bought one.
The co2 version running a regulated to 850psi running a 4500psi HPA paintball tank with a coil remote would be great, lots of shots, no cool down.
But I still want to handle one first.

I make 2 predictions;
ON THE DATE WHEN US TROOPS ARE ISSUED AN Energy Pulse Weapon,
1. The US Soldier will have on his person a version of the Colt 1911.
2. He will be aiming the NEW Weapon at someone carrying an AK47.

TimmyMac1's post are always insightful, I just hope he is wrong about it showing up at next years shot show (meaning it still has not reached the market). I've already ordered a ninja 13CI SHP tank and will order the Air Venturi CO2 Bulk-Fill Adapter when I finally am able to order the rifle. with this, I should be able to have a nice regulated HPA rifle...just disappointed with the double action trigger.
When is "WE" going to figure out that they could easily corner the market with a blowback repeating air rifle or pistol using a belt magazine? They are practically there with the soft air stuff they already produce.

I don't see WE-TECH doing a pellet version, the are having a good run with the 6mm version.
Some of their equipment has issues, some doesn't.
I have had their PDW gas blow back, great weapon after some op graded internal parts.
Their "glock" 18 is a great gun, but the extrnal barrel was weak, and needed a "upgrade" but is great for the price point
Their g36 rifle is one that needs no upgrades, they got it right the first time.
Their parts also cross over to some umarex replicas.
The umarex p08 I have I have used WE-TECH parts to repair.
Not happy with umarex to find out that after the gun is out of warranty they consider it non reparable.
And under warranty, they just swap it out for a new one.
The only difference between the we p08 and the umarex is the 4.5mm Inner barrel, the loading nozzle, and the magazine.

It looks like a plastic belt inside the magazine to hold the pellets. It will probably be a royal PITA to load pellets into the belt one at a time, then 20 seconds to empty the clip

Just received ours and we will be testing this gun we believe it should be tested. We shoot air/soft 2 and 3 gun and air/soft AR 15 Rifle shoots. Our furthest target will be 50yds our closet will be 7yds we will shoot it with the red dot it came with. Yes 50yds will be a challenge with 7.4 gr wad cutters but isn't that what shooting should be a challenge. We will be doing the New NRA America's Rifle Match beside a 2 or 3 gun match.
