Did some more fine tuning and I think it is great right now.
Getting 50 shots and just look at that straight line in FPS chart spread sheet.
AA s510 now has polished rail and hammer One coil removed from hammer spring and a Robert Lane regulator.

That is one *(&^ of a string at that power level and the limited air in the AA tubes. Congrats

Very cool. Setting up my notification on updates to this thread now! I am not familiar with regulators (yet...) but I have to assume these velocities were on high-power? Do you even keep the power adjuster when you install the regulator?

Mel, very nice results. Last time we visited you were waiting on a different spring from abroad. Did you stick with the factory spring and shorten it? Anymore details you'd like to share? Is your power adjuster full open for example? Any opening up of any ports/passages? Enquiring minds have to know!!

Mcoulter I have adjustment lock on high power , there is a little screw on a AAs510 which enables you to lock power adjustment in place.
Jking I used the factory hammer spring and just shorten it one coil.
I had order another spring as I had told you just in case in my shortening it didn’t work and if so I could just go back.
Did not modify any ports /passages did change valve spring to one a little stronger which came with RL regulator Robert sent me two different springs for this one weaker and one stronger than the one that came with gun.
It was a lot of nerve racking work with always the knowledge I could screw up a very expensive gun, however it worked out just great IMO , it really was a lot easier than I thought.
Now I will have to just shot it with the knowledge if I miss it is not guns fault.
O PS regulator came set at 130 psi which in the end I set it at 150 psi which work out best for the FPS and shot count I wanted.
And a special thanks to Mr. Robert Lane for letting me pick his brain and for all the help he gave me.

abslayer,
I had the same experience with RL as you did. I put mine on a AA MPR .177 set to 12#. In my case I get just over 100 shots. Mi regulator is et at 120 bar. He recommended 100 to 90 bar but I found it was way too loud and accuracy was not a good. I also did not gain any shots.
It took a lot of adjusting on my part becuase I messed with the regulator too much. I should have just kept the original setting. but I learned alot.

Thank you for another project the shine and polish part is on my to do list for my .177 S510 and after seeing your shot string I guess a Robert Lane Regulator is also going to be added to that part of the AG to do list. I just love AG's

Red circle quarter size
Latest test on my feelings on hunting with this gun AA s510 .22 is Max 80 yds it is deadly at 70 and 60 yds.
I suppose I could have done better with a back rest also instead of just a ti-pod sitting.
However shooting with ti-pod is how hunting with this gun will be so that is why I but limited of 70yds
to assure a clean kill.
On targets no problem out to 100yds.

You can lighten the striker/hammer and get even more with no power loss
Outstanding where it's at to be sure !!
