just curious ..... i see multiple threads about folks not being able to get their trail NP's to shoot accurately but no complaints about the simpler/cheaper titan . is the titan inherently a more accurate shooter or easier to shoot ?

I dont know about the trail but my titan is very easy to cock. You do have to hold it just right but i am able to hit pop cams at 150 ft. Thats about as good as i can do with any pellet rifle. I have a stock trigger too. I did play with it just a bit but not much.

I don't have both. I am sure there are others who do and will respond to you with specifics.
There are two versions of the Titan. One is know as the "low power" version which is suppose to be very easy to cock. Mine is the other. It is good for what it is. It is inexpensive and shoots well. I have eliminated 31 chipmucks in my yard in the year that I have had it. It does what I want it to do.

I don't have the Trail NP but I bought a remanufactured Titan GP (hi power) from Airgun Daily when they had them on sell. It is a great gun but the trigger was atrocious. Extremely long pull that never seemed to release at the same point led me to offer it for sale. Fortunately, no one wanted it at the time and I ended up putting it back up. Skip to a month ago and I decided to carry it to Mr. Gene's for the annual gathering and see what he and Mr. Bob thought I should do. Mr. Bob graciously offered anyone who had a gun that his trigger would fit with them a brand new trigger and he also volunteered Mr. Gene to install it!!! LOL!
To make a long story short, the gun is no longer for sale. I sat at the line for the rest of the day and that $100 gun was banging the little bells out at 50-60 yards with regular authority. I ended up shooting that gun as much as I shot the FX Royale. It just became a sweet shooter after that trigger and a little time dialing it in!

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks."
