Let us know what it does!I have one in .25 but sent it off to have a LW .177 barrel installed.
The numbers sound low. My Torpedo 100X/.22 averages 865 FPS for 23.75 FPE with CPUM's, 14.3gr. and is pretty easy to cock. I would think the Dominator should be close, what does the Hatsan website claim for FPS with lead pellets? Could be a nicked piston seal?
Well the .25 cal Dominator carbine just arrived. Too bad I'm at work. I will run it over the chrony and get some numbers on that one before I make a call to Hatsan.

Look...That is the top of the compression tube.It screws in and that is not all rust, it's what they used as thread locker to seal it. I cleaned this up and used an oring and thread thread locker for a better seal. Way better trust me on that.I will find out for sure if that helped once I run it over the chrony.
Both have a date code of 0312 and both were factory sealed. The piston seal is in good condition. Both rifles are in great condition, absolutely no rust anywhere outside or inside the rifle. What you see in the picture is a deteriorating sealant. I will post more pictures and a video of it later. It's going to be in the 30s tomorrow but I will get out there and try it out.30s ......... for me is super cold. LolI will definitely be taking it apart and giving it a good tune after the test. It's still the same except for the sealed compression tube.So any increase in fps will be due to the sealed tube.
