Years ago I bought a Daisy Power line 1000 Springer from a friend who was moving. Have recently started shooting it, its in. 177, synthetic stock, fiber optic sights, very powerful, very loud. Has the look of a Hats an, and is marked "made in Turkey" Its about 15-20 years old, should I be oiling it? Were these made by Hats an and marketed by Daisy? Nice gun, just wondering?
Thanks for the info. I will be putting a scope on it this spring, take off the front sight, and look for a moderator. This gun is noisey, too loud to shoot in my back yard. I will take a look at the trigger, mine is a bit stiff, but it may break in with use.
They are worth tuning, just ask Dez. I detuned one I had to make it a nice smooth shooter. I also did a full trigger job and it was quite nice.

I bought one from a pawn shop a few months back for like $12 but it is loud, has a terrible trigger and has more twang when you pull the trigger than 6 country music songs. I haven't chronnied it yet but I it is a very hard shooter. Thanks, Charlie
Good find!Around here the pawn shops put the prices for everything @ barely under new. They make money on gold, payday loans, and deadbeats trying to hide money from their families. The goods in the store are just a front.
