ok Gang
I remember my Gramps owning a 760 in the mid 70's . I seem to remember that it had a metal reciever and wood stocks and pump. has anyone seen one of these still kicking around anywhere??? If I remember correctly the bolt also locked down like a real bolt action rifle.

You can find them on the classifieds sometimes, with the wood stock. I've never seen an old one so I can't say if they had a metal receiver. Good luck.

I will keep my eyes open for that. I wouldnt mind owning one like that but refuse to buy the current version . Might be a good rifle still but i'm looking for something more real than plastic
-
I had one but I sold it a few weeks ago. It did have a metal receiver but the stock was plastic. Honestly, though looking at it you couldn't tell that it was plastic. It broke about a year ago and I never got around to fixing it. When I was younger though it was an awesome shooter.

I bought mine in 1967 or 68. I have the original wood but made an oak set a few years ago. Also reworked the power plant on it. I love my Revelation (sold by Western Auto) 760 PumpMaster. :)

I picked one up last year at a garage sale for $5.. old plastic stock and a bunch of rust... still shoots well and is pretty accurate! Haven't gotten around to cleaning it up yet but lots of fun to shoot anyhow!

I had one a new one in 1968 in 1984 its was rebuild give to my nefew a couple a years ago. It really enjoy it so I upgrade him with a airmaster 77. I ahve no idea how many bbs an pellets went thur that 760 but it was alot. We use to throw up cans an shot them in mid air. There was was four other kids in my sub that had the 760. The gun survived a lot of use.
