Not going by personal experience on this one, but there is a currenet thread going on comparing accuracy of the Daisy 901 to a Benji 397.http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=94797.0;topicseenIf the 901 is as good as the Daisy guys report, I'd say it belongs here. Because a 397 can be DARN accurate. And it makes the price cut-off at Amazon. $59 shipped with a Prime account.
I have a Diana model 45 .177 that was manufactured in West Germany that I rescued from a pawn shop for $60.this rifle does meet the $60 budget requirement, as well as accuracy and 1 1/2 lb trigger. But beyond that it's likely disqualified from being discussed further.
That Diana was my gateway rifle into German made air rifles. Three weeks after that purchase I found myself being the highest bidder at a local auction for a Diana 48 and Diana 54, I wasn't able to snag those for under $60.Well in an effort to keep this post on track I used to shoot a B3-1 that was fairly accurate. This was long ago before my addiction began. Now I feel like getting a B3 from Mike Melick.
We would have to ask the OP... but I was under the impression he meant new.Heck there are several members that have recently gotten Silver Streaks for under $60.
im guessing were there a field target meeting , where the gun can be no more than 60 bux.. the winners would be holding the 901, 880 , and 2100 series guns.. Would be cool , id drive to that
I couldn't control myself any longer, I ordered a B3-4 from flyingdragonairrifles tonight. It may or may not be a tack driver out of the box, but it will help me reminisce.
I guess I was thinking of the XS12.I don't even see the B3-4 listed on the FD site.

Would be cool , id drive to that I bought a Crosman 2100 refurb on cyber Monday directly from Crosman this last November. I got the gun and a box of 1250 7.4gr Crosman Premier pointed pellets for $50 + free shipping.($53.75 with MN sales tax) This gun shoots as well as my B-3, IF I can hold it still enough. The gun is so light weight that if I even blink the shot placement will shift some. It is great for carrying and off hand shooting. If I can find a picture of shot grouping from it I will do an edit of this post with the picture for you folks. Best Regards to All. - Tom
