I wonder how they correct for barrel droop when needed.?barrel bender?
After another 50 shots down the tube I switched to RWS Superdomes (14.5 gr) and the groups tightened up and it is spiting them out @ 784 FPS for 18.3 FPE....This will be a keeper after tweaking the trigger, hope everyone else has the same experience!
Psssst............http://www.airgunproshop.com/shop/refurbished-hatsan-95-22-cal-airgun/Is this a better buy if the Hatsan and Welbey Tomahawk are essentially one in the same?
95 is a used gun, $150 gun for $99, no scope and IMO not as nice looking.Tommy is new, $259 gun for $99, $130-160 Hawke scope for $35 offered with it and pretty IMO.In the 95 AGPS ad the other two pictures are of a 135, another pretty gun.
Because I own the .22 Tommy and like packard8, I also have a Model 95 (mine is in .25), I'd buy the Webley first...outstanding deal on a brand new rifle vs a refurb and because I already own 3 of those Hawke scopes, it's a crazy cheap deal on both...I did a side by side comparison on the rifles with pictures, it's in the Turkish Gate as part of the review I did on mine and the Tommy is just flat a better looking rifle and if packard's and my fps numbers are any indication, one with some pretty impressive power.JMO, but if you're on the fence, buy one before they sell out...
Never shot the Trail but the recoil in my 95 and Webley aren't in any way, shape or form brutal and haven't eaten any scopes. The Hawke Vantage 4-12x50 AO IR scope on my 95 Vortex .25 has been on there for a little over a year with no problems or loss of zero for over 1600 shots now and the Webley .22 with the Hawke scope deal has something like 700+ fired in the couple months I've owned it also with no problems or loss of zero.

From what I've been reading the Mod 95/Welbey are akin to my Trail XP.
I just ordered another with the intention of keeping the scope and either selling or gifting the rifle
Quote I just ordered another with the intention of keeping the scope and either selling or gifting the rifleSelling it? Will it be a price no one can say no to Or gift it to your favorite charity.......ME
Harry, I stopped counting at 70. 😊 But I'm pretty sure these 2 new shooters will put me close to 90. I keep Meaning to start selling some off but then I sit at the backyard range with a rifle I plan on selling and I shoot it and get re-attached to it all over again. I just really love my air rifles so I guess I'm doomed to keep collecting 😁
