Air Arms has done me right so far... I have even toyed with notion of getting my TX a little sister. A walnut .177 TX. the Pro Sport is a real looker. How does it compare to the TX?
The TX200 isn't the holy grail. It's a good gun, for sure. I've had one. But there are other springers that shoot as good or better. And if you want a springer more around the 12fpe mark, most springers have a nicer shot cycle. A tuned HW97 and especially an older HW77 with a 25mm piston, gives a much calmer and fast shot cycle than the TX . The HW50S has such a quick shot cycle that it's less hold sensitive than a TX, and weighs a lot less. Point is, there are a lot of great springers out there. If the TX is the only high end springer you've tried, well of course it's going to be top of the heap. If you are that happy with it and think nothing else can compare, then you may as well just save your money and buy pellets. ...but you're missing out if you do

That's why I come to y'all for input. Because one thing is for sure; I'll be buying more air rifles. I just hope to avoid a regretable purchase.
