What scope do you have on it?
Well, if this is the type of water lily....
Hey Sandman,Glad you liked the gun, the 95 is easy to love.Did you mean 12 yards? At my age, I couldn't see a lily pad 12 yards without a scope
So.... Open sights, and "using the same 10.3 grain cometa ultrashock heavies I could consistently hit the same waterlilly 120 yards away off-hand"Yeah right...
Nope, it was actually 120 yards. I measured it with google earth, which was easy since I was shooting from the end of my garden and it was right next to the corner of a pretty large concrete plateau. I would actually like to go to 150 yards but there's a bunch of low-hanging branches blocking the way.

Must be some rifle you have there!
It's a WATER LILY. We're not exactly talking sub-moa accuracy here. The thing is I'm guessing about a foot wide, which is not impressive by any means.
Well because you claim you're doing it with open sights it really is astonishing. To even be able to aim at something, at 120 yards, when you need ~100 cm holdover and the iron sights will cover about 5 yards of space at that distance and then you also claim off hand shooting on top of that. All of the above mentions, puts you, with your claim, in the "Top ten shooters in the world" category.
i don't know, dockys got a 1" bell set up at 50 yards. I've hit it more than once with open sights, my buddy hit it 5 or 6 times. 1 foot at 120 yards doesn't seem so crazy to me at all. Maybe you guys need to come to the next jersey shoot and let Joe palonej teach you what he knows.
