, I can make 10 shot groups at 35 yards with JSB Monsters that can be covered by a dime when I do my part.
Do you have a chrony or access to one (a lot of troubleshooting can be accomplished quickly if there are known velocities)?
Are you using the same scope and rings from the Prod on the Mrod (have they been used successfully and without issue on another gun recently)? Is the gun being shot offhand or from a stable rest (if so, what is being used)? Does the action feel rough when working it to chamber a pellet (if so, check for the barrel o-ring or a burr in the transfer port opening to the barrel)?
OK guys, I looked into taking the bolt off (not so simple on the new mrods) and the barrel (requires quite a bit of dis-assembly)... and it would void the crossman warranty. So I called up crossman and they said 1/3" groupings a 10 yards is acceptable accuracy for the rifle. I really don't know what to do?Are there any other PCP options in the ~$500 range that will shoot 1/4" groups at 30 yards? Both this rifle and the pistol have been a real disappointment in the accuracy department.
