My thoughts exactly! As I was sitting around I had an idea. I have a cheap single shot, light barrel, break action .223 It too would not stay consistent, for the heck of it one day I threw one of these on it http://www.cabelas.com/product/Sims-LimbSaver-Barrel-De-Resonator/741294.uts So I figured why not pop off the barrel shroud and put the Limbsaver on my pellet gun? The result, consistency! The general idea behind using one is you put it closest to your stock and shoot some groups. You then start moving it farther away from the stock until you find the sweet spot. The groups will at one point stop getting tighter and start getting larger, then you slide it back to the last spot. It was fun watching the POI change every time I moved the Limbsaver. Eventually I found the sweet spot.
